Two months ago Swedish Police took down The Pirate Bay and two weeks ago, The Pirate bay came back online.
Currently five people are under custody suspicion of being involved in illegal copyright material distribution.
One of the site which have been targeted is Tankafetast, Swedish second largest torrent website. It’s already been hit couple of times before, while it always managed to come back online, this time it is more serious.
It is still not confirmed that servers of PirateHub have been seized or not.
It is not us who have taken down the sites, it is they themselves who did so in order to prevent further crime,” Ljungqvist said.
Two Pirate Bay domain names are also under threat, with authorities targeting the Punkt SE registry with pioneering legal action to have the domains revoked and/or seized by the state.
